Have you ever dreamed of playing college basketball in the USA? Here’s your opportunity to be seen by NCAA colleges of all levels without having to leave South Australia!

We are excited to announce our second annual CLF Hoops Showcase for the best 48 male youth basketball prospects in South Australia.

This one-of-it’s-kind event will be held on October 3rd (9am – 12:30pm) and 4th (9am – 6pm) 2020 at Prince Alfred College, Adelaide.

Over the past five years, South Australia has experienced a historic boom in talent hitting the college ranks.  Dozens of SA athletes have committing to NCAA programs over that period, including to high major Division one schools like Oklahoma, Nebraska, Stanford and TCU.

There is a huge focus on South Australian talent by coaches at all levels of the NCAA and this event makes it possible for your game to be exposed to them without having to pay the huge costs of travelling over to the USA.

Only 48 male players will be accepted into the CLF Hoops Showcase.

Preference will be given to those players who have the required resume to be granted US college scholarships. Showcase participants will participate in two days of drills, physical testing and games. The coaching staff of the event will be some of the best coaches in South Australia.

The CLF Hoops Showcase is supported by Prince Alfred College, as well as, High Performance Hoops Network one of Australia’s premier organisations for connecting basketball players with US colleges.  As before, the CLF Hoops Showcase will be filmed on high definition cameras by Flix Productions (an award winning sports documentary company) and made available for coaches to watch on our unique video platform.

Selection Criteria:

  • Male players only
  • Grade 10, 11 or 12 at high school OR college player with at least two years of eligibility remaining.
  • A playing resume that will attract interest from USA colleges

The registration fee for the CLF Hoops Showcase is $175. This is to be paid on registration. Please note, if you don’t make the cut for the Showcase, we will refund your money in full.

As well as the benefits listed above, all participants will receive a reversible singlet unique to this event. Your information will also be sent out a minimum of four times a year to our vast database of USA college Head coaches and Assistant Coaches.

Nominations for the CLF Hoops Showcase close 5pm August 14th 2020.

"Coach Liam Flynn is very experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to player development. His workouts are position specific and they translate to game like situations. He pays close attention to detail and footwork; the little things that'll help give you the edge in a game."

Suleiman Braimoh, Professional Basketball Player – Israel (Winner League), France (ProA), Russia (VTB League), Germany (BBL).

"I cannot express enough how impactful Coach Liam Flynn was on my overall development as a player. His endless knowledge and basketball intelligence slowed the game down for me, in addition to unlocking other personal on-court skills that were previously underdeveloped. Coach is extremely honest, but he is a joy to work with and instills tremendous confidence in all of his players"

Miles Jackson – Cartwright. Professional basketball player, German BBL, NCAA Division 1

"Andrew’s [Andrew Jantke – High Performance Hoops Network] knowledge and expertise in this area and his connections to US coaches as well as his knowledge of how the US College system works has been a “money can’t buy” support for our son and to our family. As a developing elite basketball player and as a family of that player, I believe you can do no better than to have Andrew Jantke in your corner."

From a current division 1 NCAA scholarship holder

"Andrew has continued to care and support us as a family during our basketball journey. Through encouraging important coaches at high levels in Australia or USA College Coaches to look at our son and his value as a player, taking a continued interest in his development and pathway and being an ear to listen and help make things clearer for us as a basketball mentor."
