My name is Liam Flynn and I am a basketball coach from Australia. Been very fortunate to be coaching basketball for quite while, in a bunch of countries, both boys and girls, in every age group with both amateurs and professionals.
This website is a place where you can get some ideas for your own coaching career - whatever that level is. You can also engage with me to work with you, your team, your players or your club.

Coaching: 35+ years’ coaching experience at professional and junior elite levels in the USA, Australia, Germany, Israel, China, and New Zealand. Most recently as the Assistant Coach for the Washington Wizards G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go.

Shooting Development: Built one of the largest shooting academies in Australia from 2020-2022, with over 450 participants. Responsible for shooting development at the Cap City Go Go who were the #1 team in the G league for 3pt FG% (2024-2025 season)

Coach Education: Over 20 years experience in providing education services to coaches in Australia, USA and Europe.

Personnel Scouting: Previously a scouting consultant for the Charlotte Hornets and Phoenix Suns.

Advance Scouting: Previously Director of Advance Scouting for the Adelaide 36ers in the NBL. I was also an advance scout forAustralian Senior National Team.

Player Development: 15 years’ experience in managing player development programs for professional and youth clubs in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, China, and Israel. I’ve also served as an individual coach and mentor for professional players with NBA, Euroleague, and National Team experience.

Education: I hold a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science (Honours) degree studying Shot Selection in Professional Basketball Players, as well as a Masters Degree in Sports Coaching.
